✔ Support the Annual Fund by making a gift in honor or memory of someone special. (Support the Annual Fund)

Make a Bequest –

It’s easy for you to include SCS in your will. Your gift helps us foster greater happiness, better health, and stronger independence among older adults in Delaware County, whether they are healthy and active or frail and homebound, or somewhere in between.

When you visit your attorney to prepare or revise your will, ask them to use this wording:

I hereby give, devise and bequeath to Senior Community Services, Inc. with offices at 600 Swarthmore Ave., Folsom, PA 19033, federal tax ID number 23-2036427 or its successors in interest, the sum of $(amount written out), exclusive of my lifetime giving, if any, for use in its most urgent priorities as determined by its board of trustees, in its sole discretion.

That paragraph is for a gift of a specific amount of money.

If you prefer to leave a percentage of your estate to SCS, use this:

I hereby give, devise and bequeath to Senior Community Services, Inc. with offices at 600 Swarthmore Ave., Folsom, PA 19033, federal tax ID number 23-2036247, or its successors in interest, % of all the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, for use in its most urgent priorities as determined by its board of trustees, in its sole discretion.

Of course, your attorney may change these suggestions to suit your preferences.

If you’d like to designate your gift to a specific program at SCS, it’s best if you talk to us. We want to make sure your gift meets our future needs.

SCS offers businesses the opportunity to engage with Delaware County seniors through sponsorships at senior centers, of programs and activities at centers, and at special events, such as the Volunteer Recognition Event and the Awards Gala.
